Deli/ Butchery Assistant

Hours: Saturdays (additional seasonal hours may be available)

Your role
We are looking for a motivated Saturday person who would like to work and gain knowledge within the butchery/deli sector. This is a chance to be hands on, gaining a variety of skills, while providing high-quality meats and services to our customers at our Award Winning Butchers. To succeed, you should be courteous, engaged and detail oriented. You should have good communication skills and want to excel in everything you do.
Responsibilities
Greeting and speaking to customers
Answering questions, accepting orders and payments
Cleaning and assisting with the maintenance of tools and equipment
Ensuring displays and signage are accurate and attractive
Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products
Assisting with the cutting, grinding, and preparing meats for sale
Adhering to food safety and sanitation controls
About you
Ideal Candidates will have;
GCSE or equivalent English (Grade C/4) Desired
GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade C/4) Desired
